Board of Secondary Education Andhra Pradesh (BSEAP) was established in the year 1953. BSEAP is a State Governmental Board of School Education which supervises and regulates various schools located within the A.P. state. It works as an autonomous body under the ministry of secondary education. It is also known as the Directorate of Government Examinations. Its official language is Telugu. This department is having the responsibility for conducting the SSC/OSSC Public Examinations twice in a year and various other minor examinations. According to Date Sheet allotted to every candidate, the Directorate of Government Examinations has successfully conducted Secondary School Certificate exam 2017 from March 21st and ended on April 07th. As per official data, around seven lakh 10th class students have appeared for an examination of the academic year 2016-17. The exam was held on subjects like Telugu, Hindi, First Language Paper-1 & 2, Second Language, English Paper-1 & 2, General Science Paper-1 & 2, Mathematics Paper-1 & 2, Social Studies Paper-1 & 2 and OSSC Main Language Paper-2. Every annual, this regular examination was hosted for total 600 marks. Those candidates who get good merit from this test will be considered eligible for further studies as per their interest. But those students who are unable to get merit in this examination, they will require appearing for Supply Examinations.
