Eligibility Criteria for APS Teacher OST Exam 2024

Candidates applying for APS Online Screening Test must hold the required eligibility criteria to be eligible for TGT, PGT or PRT Vacancies. Army Public School Teacher Post-wise eligibility criteria are as follows:-

Age Limitation:-

• Fresh Candidates: Below 40 years as on 1st of April 2023.
• Experienced Candidates (Minimum 05 years experience in the appropriate category in the last 10 years): Below 57 years as on 1st April 2023.
  • For the PGT category, the candidate should have worked as PGT/ TGT for at least 05 years in the last 10 years.

• Stage 3 – Evaluation of Teaching Skills and Computer Proficiency: For Language teachers, a written test comprising an essay and comprehension of 15 marks each would be held along with an evaluation of teaching skills. The Selection Committee may also hold computer proficiency tests if they so desire.

AWES Online Screening Test (OST) 2024 Syllabus, Exam Pattern

Following are the Important Details regarding AWES OST Exam Pattern & Syllabus for the guideline of aspirants:-

• The Online Screening Test (OST) question paper will consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
• The questions asked in OST will be of objective type.
• For each category, there will be one question paper of 200 marks, i.e., one question paper for PRT, and one question paper in each subject for PGT & TGT.
• There will be 03 (three) sections in the question paper of TGT, PGT & PRT Teacher posts.
• The question paper will have 200 questions for one mark each.
• For each correct response, one mark is to be awarded.
• ¼ marks will be deducted for each wrong answer as a negative marking.
