BSF invites online applications from eligible Indian Citizens (Male and Female) to fill 217 HC RO & 30 HC RM Vacancies in Group ‘C’ in Border Security Force (Communication Set-up) for the vacancy Year 2024. BSF HC Radio Operator & HC Radio Mechanic Vacancy are to be filled up on a temporary basis but are likely to be made permanent. Under the BSF Head Constable Notification, a candidate can apply for both the posts, i.e. HC(RO) and HC(RM), depending on their eligibility for the respective posts. Eligibility Criteria for BSF HC RO RM Jobs 2024

- HC (Radio Operator) Post:
- Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board AND 02 (two) years ITI (Industrial Training Institute) Certificate in Radio and Television or, Electronics or, Computer Operator & Programming Assistant or, Data Preparation & Computer Software or, General Electronics or, DEO from a recognized Institute; OR
- Pass in Intermediate (10+2) or 12th standard or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics from a Govt recognized Board or University or Institution as a regular student with aggregate 60% marks in PCM subject.
- HC (Radio Mechanic) Post:
- 10th pass or equivalent from a recognized board AND 02 years Industrial Training Institute (ITI) Certificate in Radio and Television or, General Electronics or, Computer Operator & Programming Assistant or, Data Preparation & Computer Software or, Electrician or Fitter or, IT & Electronics System Maintenance or, Com Equipment Maintenance or, Computer Hardware or, Network Technician or, Mechatronics or, Data Entry Operator from a recognized Institute; OR
- 10+2 or 12th pass or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics from a Govt recognized Board or University or Institution as a regular student with aggregate 60% marks in PCM subject.

In addition to the salary; Dearness Allowance, Ration Money Allowance, Dress Allowance, Special Compensatory Allowance, Free Uniform, Free Accommodation or HRA, Transport Allowance, Free Leave Pass & any other allowance as admissible in the Force from time to time will be applicable as per the rules/ instructions.
BSF Head Constable Bharti 2024: Selection Process
As per the mode of selection, applicants will have to appear in the Border Security Force HC (RO & RM) selection tests as per the following sequences:-
- FIRST PHASE – Written Examination
- Computer Based Screening Test (CBT) = 200 marks
- SECOND PHASE
- Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Measurement Test (PMT) & Documentation = Qualifying Nature
- Dictation Test & Paragraph Reading Test (For HC RO candidates only) = 50 marks
- THIRD PHASE
- Final Medical Examination = Qualifying Nature
- FINAL RESULT: For HC (RO) & HC (RM), the final result to be prepared separately and merit will be in the following manner:-
- HC RM = Total Marks scored in OMR Test out of 200 marks.
- HC RO = Total Marks scored in OMR Test (200) and Dictation Test (50) out of total 250 marks (200 + 50 marks respectively).

BSF Head Constable (RO & RM) Admit Card 2024
All candidates can download their Admit Card for BSF HC Radio Operator/ Radio Mechanic Exam from the online web portal. Candidates have to log-in, click on ‘Download Admit Card’ button and then take the printout of an Admit Card to appear for the written examination. As and when the Admit Card download process starts, aspirants will get information through e-mail & SMS. It is the responsibility of candidate for downloading Admit Card. The authority is not responsible if candidates do not download their Admit Card within the time limit. In case the candidate is unable to download the E-Admit Card, they may go to the Facilitation Centre.
