BSNL Jr Telecom Officer Jobs 2020 Eligibility Criteria
NATIONALITY: Indian Nationals Only
AGE LIMITATION (as on cutoff date – 12th March 19):-
- Minimum 18 years and Maximum 30 years.
- The age relaxation for reservation category as follows:
- OBC – 03 (three) years
- SC/ ST – 05 (five) years
- OBC PWD – 13 (thirteen) years
- SC/ ST PWD – 15 (fifteen) years
- BSNL Employee – 05 (five) years
- Ex-Servicemen – as per Central Govt. Rules
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: Aspirants must have following qualification required for this recruitment from a recognized Institution/ University.
- BE/ B.Tech or equivalent in Civil Engineering for JTO Civil Posts
- BE/ B.Tech or equivalent in Electrical Engineering for JTO Electrical Posts
- Required to appear in GATE Exam 2020, opting 01 (one) paper from selected 02 (two) disciplines of GATE paper codes, i.e. Electrical (EE) & Civil (CE). All details are available at www.gate.iitm.ac.in.
SELECTION PROCESS:-
- The final selection of applicants based on GATE-2020 Score which has to be conducted by IIT Madras, Chennai in February 2020. The officials shall not conduct any further examination or interview in this recruitment process. All those candidates whose name appear in the merit list that does not mean they selected for the vacancy of Junior Telecom Officer. Selected applicants will get a final appointment letter after completion of all the formalities.
BSNL JTO PAY SCALE:-
- Candidates who selected will receive IDA pay scale Executive [E-1A] of Rs. 16,400/- to Rs. 40,500/- as per 2nd PRC along with annual increment @ 3% of basic pay plus IDA, HRA, Perks, Medical Benefits, etc. according to the Company norms.
APPLICATION FEE (Non-Refundable):-
- OBC Candidates: Rs. 1000/- (Rupees One Thousand only)
- SC/ ST Category Applicants: Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only)
