Eligibility Criteria for RRC CR Apprentice Vacancies 2024

Aspirants will have to compulsorily meet the Central Railway Apprentice eligibility criteria to be able to apply for the post. Hence, check out the age limit and educational qualifications required to Apply for CR Trade Apprentice Posts as shown below:-

Age Limitation:-

• Candidates who have completed 15 years of age and those who have not completed 24 years of age as on 29-08-2023 are eligible for apprentice vacancies.
• Upper age relaxation will be applicable for SC/ ST Aspirants by 05 years and OBC Applicants by 03 years.
• The upper age limit is relaxable by up to 10 years in a case of Persons with Disability.
• The eligible Date of Birth (DOB) range shall be as follows:-

• A National Trade Certificate in a related trade issued by the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) or Provisional Certificate issued by National Council for Vocational Training/ State Council for Vocational Training.

Central Railway Apprentice 2024-25 Selection Process

The complete details regarding the selection process for Apprentice in RRC CR 2024 are as follows:-

• RRCCR board will appoint eligible candidates based on their percentage obtained in Matriculation (minimum 50% aggregate marks) plus ITI marks in the trade in which Apprenticeship is to be done. The panel will be based on a simple average of marks in the matriculation and ITI.
• Aspirants who find their name on a merit list will have to attend the Document Verification process. Production of original documents on the day of document verification is mandatory, without which applicants will not be allowed to appear in the document verification.

RRC CR Apprentice 2024 Training Period & Stipend

Central Railway Act Apprentices will be paid a stipend as per RBE No. 202/2019 (dated 26-11-2019) as detailed below:-

Central Railways Act Apprentice Result/ Final Merit List 2024

The RRC CR authority will publish a list of selected candidates for Act Apprenticeship at RRC website. RRC board will not prepare centralized merit list. The final merit list will be prepared cluster/ unit wise, trade wise & community wise as equal to the number of slots in a descending order of percentage of marks obtained by an applicant.
