ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:-

• PART-I (Electronics & Comm. Engg, Mechanical Engg and Computer Science & Engg) Posts:
  • First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in relevant disciplines from a recognized university or equivalent.
  • Valid GATE score OR minimum 80% aggregate marks in EQ degree, if done from an IIT or NIT.
• PART-II (Electrical Engg, Material Science & Engg/ Metallurgical Engg, Chemical Engg, Aeronautical Engg and Civil Engg) Posts:
  • First Class Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in relevant disciplines from a recognized university or equivalent.
  • Valid GATE score
• PART-II (Physic, Chemistry and Mathematics) Posts:
  • First Class Master’s Degree in relevant disciplines from a recognized university or equivalent.
  • Valid GATE score
• PART-III (Psychology) Posts:

DRDO Scientist ‘B’ Pay Scale 2024

Selected candidates will receive the scale of pay cum salary as per Level-10 (7th CPC) of the Pay Matrix (Rs. 56,100/-) in specified disciplines and categories. While joining the service, aspirants will get total emoluments around Rs. 80,000/- P.M. inclusive of HRA and all other allowances by the Organization at the present metro city rate.

DRDO RAC Scientist ‘B’ Selection Process 2024

The most appropriate candidates will be appointed by DRDO for Scientist ‘B’ Posts in Aeronautical Development Agency based on the following selection stages:-

• PART-I Posts: Final selection will be based on discipline wise category wise merit of aggregate of 80% weightage of Descriptive Examination Marks and 20% weightage of Personal Interview Marks.
• PART-II Posts: Final selection will be based on discipline wise category wise merit of aggregate of 80% weightage of GATE score and 20% weightage of Personal Interview Marks.
• PART-III Posts: Final selection will be based on category wise merit of aggregate of 80% weightage of percentage of marks in NET and 20% weightage of Personal Interview Marks.

Here shortlisted candidates based on the GATE scores and/ or Descriptive Examination or percentage of marks in NET will be required to participate in a Personal Interview. All the selected applicants will have to appear for personal interview at Delhi or any other place as decided by the recruitment department. We inform all contestants that recruited one will be liable to serve anywhere in India, which includes field area locations and that in accordance with the Central Government rules.

DRDO RAC Admit Card/ Call Letter 2024

Shortlisted contestants will have to download Admit Card for DRDO RAC Scientist ‘B’ Descriptive Examination (Only for Part-I disciplines)/ call letter for interview respectively along with its venue, date & time through RAC website. It is to notify that the Descriptive Exam Admit Card & Interview Call Letter will not be sent by post or courier. Intimation regarding Admit Card shall be sent as SMS on the registered mobile number of aspirants.

All candidates will have to download call letter by login to their account through DOB/ Email ID/ Mobile Number and Password. Admit Card is mandatory for appearing in the written exam & interview. Contestants are not permitted to appear for the exam without Admit Card and ID proof.
