WBPRB KP Constable Jobs Eligibility Criteria 2024
Here job aspirants must fulfill the eligibility criteria to apply for Kolkata Police Constable & Lady Constable Recruitment 2024. WBPRB KP Eligibility Criteria are as follows:-
Nationality:-
- Applying candidate must be a Citizen of India.
Age Limit:-
- Candidate age must not be less than 18 years and not more than 30 years as on January 1st, 2024.
- The upper age limit is relaxable as follows:-
- Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes candidates = 05 (five) years
- Other Backward Classes-A and Other Backward Classes-B candidates = 03 (three) years
- Third Gender/ Transgender persons = 03 (three) years
- Civic Volunteers serving in Kolkata Police only = 5 (five) years
- The upper age limit shall be relaxable by the total number of years of completed service for the Ex-servicemen candidates subject to the maximum age of 40 (forty) years.

- Applicants having passed Madhyamik Examination under the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) or its equivalent exam is eligible for recruitment.

- Applicants must be able to speak, read and write in the Bengali language, except for the persons who are permanent residents of hill sub-divisions of Darjeeling and Kalimpong Districts for whom the provisions laid down in the West Bengal Official Language Act, 1961 (West Bengal Act XXIV of 1961) shall be applicable.
