According to the latest news, Karnataka PSC has decided to schedule the written examination for recruiting qualified aspirants for the posts of First Division Assistants & Second Division Assistants. Schedule for KPSC FDA SDA Written Exam 2019 to be fixed in a short time and then released by the Commission on their official website. The reason for conducting the written test in a selection process is to check potential and ability of contestants before recruiting them for 854 posts. It is essential to get good marks in the competitive examination for qualifying in further rounds. Just after qualifying the written exam, selected aspirants need to undergo a DV process. Cracking this test is not an easy task as there will competition from many other applicants. So, prepare well as per Karnataka PSC exam syllabus, pattern and previous year papers because exam date can declare at any time. The examination consists of 2 papers (Paper-1: General English or General Kannada & Paper-2: General Knowledge). Applicants can select either paper on General English or General Kannada. ♦ Karnataka First & Second Division Assistant Exam Pattern & Syllabus ♦

a) The examination consists of Objective Multiple Choice Type Paper & Descriptive Type Paper. b) 01st Paper will have Descriptive Type Compulsory Kannada Test of maximum 150 Marks. c) In 02nd Paper, the Objective Type Exam will have two question papers (Paper-1: General English or General Kannada, Paper-2: General Knowledge). d) Applicants may select either the paper on General English or the paper on General Kannada. e) Both the question papers consist of 100 marks each in Objective Type Examination. f) The exam paper consist of topics like General English, General Kannada and General Knowledge. g) For the First Division Assistant Posts: The General English or General Kannada Paper will conform to the minimum standard expected of a student passed the Bachelor’s Degree Examination of a University. It will test contestant’s knowledge of English/ Kannada grammar, synonyms, antonyms, vocabulary, spelling, his power to understand English/ Kannada language and his ability to discriminate between correct and incorrect usage, etc. h) For the Second Division Assistant Posts, the General English or General Kannada Paper will conform to the minimum standard expected of a student who has passed the Pre-University Course (PUC) or Pre-Degree Course (PDC) Examination.
