Mazagon Dock Trade Appearance Eligibility Criteria 2022

AGE LIMIT (as on 01.08.2021):-

1. Mini. 15 years and Maxi. 19 years for Draftsman (Mech.), Fitter, Pipe Fitter, Electrician & Structural Fitter Vacancies.
2. Mini. 16 years and Maxi. 21 years for Computer Operator & Programming Assistant, Welder, Pipe Fitter, Structural Fitter & Carpenter Vacancies.
3. Mini. 14 years and Maxi. 18 years for Welder & Rigger Vacancies.

AGE RELAXATION:-

1. As per Govt. Rules, the upper age limit relaxation will be given by 05 years for SC/ ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for DIVYANG.

MINIMUM ESSENTIAL EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:-

1. Group A Posts: Passed 10th Class/ Matriculation Examination in First Attempt with General Science & Mathematics with 50% aggregate marks for General/ OBC / SEBC/ EWS/ AFC / DIVYANG and Pass Class for SC/ ST in First Attempt Only.
2. Group B Posts: Passed ITI in the first attempt in receptive trades with 50% marks (General/ OBC/ SEBC/ EWS/ AFC/ DIVYANG) or its equivalent from a Govt. recognized university or institute. Pass Class for SC & ST Categories in First Attempt Only.
3. Group C Posts: Passed 08th Class under (10+2) system in the first attempt with Science & Mathematics. [a) Securing minimum 50% marks in aggregate for GEN/ OBC/ SEBC/ EWS/ AFC/ DIVYANG. b) Pass Class for SC/ ST Category in First Attempt Only.]

MDL Trade Apprentice Stipend (per month)

1. First Year (Rs. 3,000/-), Second Year (Rs. 6,000/-) & Third Year (Rs. 6,600/-) Stipend for Draftsman (Mech.), Fitter, Pipe Fitter, Electrician & Structural Fitter Posts.
2. Rs. 8,050/- Stipend for Electrician & Fitter Structural (Ex. ITI Fitter) Posts.

MDL Trade Apprentices 2022 Selection Process

About Selection System: The most eligible applicants will be selected based on marks scored in the following exams:

1. First Stage: Online Examination (Computer Based Test – CBT)
2. Second Stage: Medical Examination & Document Verification
3. Third Stage: Trade Allotment

About Application Fee including Bank Charges (Non-Refundable):-

1. For General, OBC, SEBC, EWS & AFC Quota: Rs. 100/- + Rs. 40/- (Bank charges).
2. For SC, ST & PWDs Quota: NIL
3. All aspirants need to pay examination fees by using Debit Cards (RuPay/ Visa/ Master Card/ Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets.
4. The bank charges for Online payment under various sources may be different. Hence, Bank transaction charges of application fees/ intimation charges will have to be borne by a candidate.
