Age Limit (as on Cutoff Date – 30.06.2019): Applicants must not have born earlier than 01.07.1988 and not later than 30.06.1997.

About Selection Procedure: The selection committee will organize following tests for the selection of best applicants out of total applied.
- Phase-I: Preliminary Examination (100 marks)
- Phase-II: Main Examination (200 marks)
- Phase-III: Regional Language Test
All those candidates who qualify in the pre-recruitment tests (Tier I and Tier II) will be shortlisted further for Regional Language Test (RLT). The Regional Language Test will be of qualifying nature. So, no Scores will be allotted to the candidates for RLT exam. The Final Merit list will be drawn up State-wise & Category-wise in descending order of total marks secured by candidates in the Online Main Examination subject to qualifying the Regional Language Test. A candidate appointed in the Officers’ cadre shall be on probation for 01 (one) year period from a date of joining the duty. The probation period may be extended twice by a further period of 06 (six) months.
