NIFT 2016 Results Release Date
On Sunday 14th Feb as per allocated schedule, examination board has hosted the written entrance test for NIFT Admission 2016-17 of all UG and PG Programmes into fashion technology courses. Enormous candidates have attended this exam for admissions into the Bachelor of design (B.Des) from various designing colleges. The NIFT exam was held at various examination centers of 32 cities such as Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Pune, Nagpur, Lucknow, Mumbai, Kolkata, Kangra, Kannur, Gandhinagar, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bhubaneswar, Bangalore, Bhopal, Patna, Jodhpur, Shillong and Rae Bareli. The board had organized two examinations of CAT (creative ability test) and GAT (general aptitude test) for one exam on single days from 10 AM to 01 PM and 02 PM to 04 PM. This both examinations were conducted for total 150 marks in 180 minutes, i.e. 03 hours.
According to official advertisement, NIFT Results cut off marks for 14th Feb Exam will be officially displayed within the months of April or May 2016 on authorized web portal. One important note to every applicant that in case the score of two participants being equal, then the older one according to DOB will be given first preference. The admission procedure will include Written Test, Situation Test, Group Discussion and Interview. Candidates will be invited for further selection processes on the basis of this result.
