The Public Service Commission of Odisha State is a government organization, certified to recruit skillful manpower for various vacancies of Group ‘A’ and ‘B’ posts. This PSC organizes numbers of competitive examinations and interviews as a part of recruitment process for acquiring suitable personnel. The posts published through recruitment advertisement no. 08 of 2015-16 are for OAS, OPS, OCS, ORS, TO & AS. OCS examination was conducted peacefully without any interruption at five Zonal Centres of the state, viz: Balasore, Berhampur, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and Sambalpur. Earlier, the commission had organized preliminary examination and already released results in order to disqualify weak contestants from selection process. Approximately thousand eligible applicants those who qualified in prelims had attended this mains exam of compulsory papers (Odia Language, English, English Essay, General Studies, Paper-I & General Studies, Paper-II) and two optional papers. All the candidates had given this examination with full confidence by collecting relevant exam syllabus, pattern, and model papers available on its site.
Now, as per reliable sources good news for candidates that OPSC Civil Service Mains Results cut off marks are expected to announce shortly in the month of February or March 2016. The examiner officers have not declared any date yet, but they will broadcast OSC Main Exam Results 2016 of each and every contestant via online mode on the internet. It will take round about 20-30 days for the evaluation process of answer papers and all other formalities to publish mark sheets of candidates. Applicants must notify that if they obtain the minimum qualifying marks in this examination as may be fixed by the commission at their discretion will be called for Personality Test or Interview. The personality test will carry 250 marks and no minimum qualifying marks for this test shall be fixed.
