EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must have the following qualification required for Punjab POWERCOM ALM Vacancy:-

• Matriculation (10th pass) or equivalent AND National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) in the Trade of Lineman
• Candidates who possess higher education, i.e. Degree/ Diploma in Electrical Engineering will be considered only if they have minimum qualifications of National Apprenticeship Certificate in Lineman Trade.
• Knowledge of Punjabi is essential. Applying candidates must have passed Punjabi of at least 10th Class or its equivalent level upto the last date of submission of online application.

AGE LIMITATION (as on 01-01-2024):-

• Above 18 years and below 37 years of age as on 1st January 2024.
• Those applicants belonging to reserved quota will get age relaxation in an upper limit as per the rules of the Punjab Government. The upper age limit to reserved categories is as follows:-
  • SC/ ST & BC = 05 (five) years over & above the normal recruitment age
  • Physically Handicapped = 10 (ten) years over & above the normal recruitment age
  • For serving employees of PSPCL/ Punjab Govt. = To the extent of service rendered in PSPCL or erstwhile PSEB/ Punjab Govt.

PSPCL Assistant Lineman 2024 Pay Scale

About Pay Scale: The minimum pay admissible as per 7th CPC Pay Matrix and report of in house committee will be Rs.19,900/-. Punjab POWERCOM Pay Scale for ALM Post will be intimated later. It will be applicable during the probation period mentioned in the appointment letter or extended probation period whichever is more. However, in case of appointment of candidates already in service in PSPCL, their pay shall be protected if the ‘fixed monthly emoluments’ in the offer of appointment are lower than the pay drawn by them on the post on which they hold a lien. But they will not be given any increment or any other allowance except TA during the probation period.
