Eligibility Criteria for RRB ALP & Technician Grade-III Jobs 2024

RRB ALP Technician 2024 Selection Procedure

About Selection Process: The board will select best contestants for Railway ALP and Tech Grade-III Recruitment 2024 through their performance in the following selection tasks:

  1. First Stage Computer Based Test (CBT)
  2. Second Stage Computer Based Test (CBT)
  3. Computer Based Aptitude Test (AT)
  4. Document Verification (DV)
  5. Medical Fitness Test

In the first round of selection process, the selection committee will conduct First Stage CBT (Computer based test) during August and September 2024. In all the stages of an exam, the marks to be normalized by a department. Those candidates qualified in all the stages of examinations will be shortlisted for Document Verification DV. RRBs will conduct verification of eligibility conditions with reference to original documents submitted by the candidates. RRB ALP 2024 Exam Pattern, Syllabus

About Exam Syllabus & Pattern: Here we have updated examination structure from the Centralized Employment Notice published at an online web portal. The first & second stage online examination will cover objective type multiple choices questions from various topics such as General Awareness, General Science, General Intelligence and Reasoning,  Arithmetic, Technical Ability, Basic Science and Engineering, etc. Candidates will get at least 01 hr (60 min) time duration for completing their answer paper.   • Negative marking for incorrect answers in First Stage CBT exam is applicable for all the category candidates.
  • As a negative marking, 1/3rd of the marks for each wrong answer is to be deducted by officials.
  • The time duration of CBT-I will be of 60 minutes (i.e. 1 hour) only.

About Admit Card/ e-Hall Ticket/ e-Call Letter Download Details: The Admit Card for First Stage CBT can be downloaded from the official websites of any of the RRBs by inserting registration details. While, the Hall Tickets for Second Stage CBT, Computer Based AT and DV (as applicable) should be downloaded only from official websites of the RRBs concerned. Here CBT exam hall ticket will be issued to eligible contestants only. The Board will send SMS as well as Email messages to all eligible candidates about the call letter upload details.
