During the Railway Recruitment Board Non Technical Exam, the following documents required:-

A) RRB E-CALL LETTER is valid only with an Original Photo ID (प्रवेश पत्र केवल मूल फोटो पहचान पत्र के साथ ही मान्य होगा).

D) Aspirants must read all the General Instructions given in a Call Letter carefully and comply with scrupulously. In the Call Letter, all details and instructions will be in English and Hindi for the convenience of candidates. If anyone fails to follow the guidelines, then it may lead to cancellation of his/ her candidature.
E) In a downloaded PDF copy of your e-Call Letter, leave the blank spaces provided in it for writing Self-Declaration Paragraph, Signature and Left Thumb Impression while coming for the CBT examination.
F) Candidate must note that his/ her name, DOB and photo on the ID should match with those details furnished in the online application. If it does not match, then they may not get permission for attempting the Written Test, Aptitude Test, Skill Test, Document Verification, etc.
G) Aspirants must maintain signature in the same style at the time of all selection stages, i.e. CBT, CBAT, Typing Skill Test, Document Verification, Medical Examination, etc. If signature found in different style, then it may result in cancellation of candidature without any warning & notification.
H) Candidates are responsible for the safe custody of their Admit Card and in the event of loss of the same, admission to the examination hall will not be allowed under any reason.
I) Candidates must note that Banned Items inside the Test Centre are NOT ALLOWED. The banned items are Electronic Gadgets (mobile phones, laptops, pagers, watches, Bluetooth enabled devices, electronic diaries, calculator, recording/ photographic device, wrist watch phones, pen scanners, etc.), Metallic Wears, Bangles, Belts, Bracelets, Shoes, Pen, Pencil, Wallet/ Purses, etc. Eating & smoking in examination hall is prohibited.
J) As there is no facility for safekeeping of personal belongings such as mobile (cell) phone, bag, laptop, etc. outside the exam premise and service providers are not responsible for its loss, so avoid carrying it.
K) Candidates must reach the centre of an examination prior the reporting time to complete all Important activities like Aspirant Verification, Capture of Biometric (Left Thumb Impression) & Photograph, Document Collections, Announcement Of Instructions and Logging-in, etc.
L) For the CBT 1, though the test duration is 90 minutes, contestants may be needed to be at the venue for almost 150 minutes or more including the time required for various procedures. The reporting time mentioned on Call Letter of Railway CEN 1/2019 (Non Technical Posts) is before the Start time of exam.
M) In the presence of invigilator, all applicants will have to write the Paragraph of Self-Declaration, Sign and Affix Left Thumb Impression (LTI) at the Examination Hall only. Applicants will have to hand over it to the invigilator before the conclusion of the test. The invigilator will reject if the Self-declaration Paragraph written in advance and/ or Signed in CAPITAL letters.
N) For attending the CBT Exam, aspirants need to make their travel & stay arrangements as the Board is not responsible for providing all such facilities to any category of candidates.
O) The exam will be held by observing all instructions as well as guidelines related to COVID-19. Wearing a face mask and maintaining social distancing at the examination venue is mandatory.

  • The CBT-1 is of screening nature. The standard of questions will be generally in conformity with the Educational standards as prescribed for the posts.
  • The Stage-I CBT Normalized Score will be used to shortlist aspirants for Stage-II CBT as per their merit.
  • As there is negative marking for an incorrect answer, so 1/3rd of the marks shall be deducted for each wrong answer.
