AGE LIMITATION (as on 01st Dec 2019):-
- Deputy Manager Posts: Minimum 35 years and maximum 42 years
- Manager and Project Development Manager Posts: Minimum 25 years and maximum 35 years
- Head (Legal) Posts: Minimum 50 years and maximum 62 years
- DGM Posts: Minimum 42 years and maximum 62 years
- Executive Posts: Minimum 22 years and maximum 30 years
- Head (Product, Investment & Research) Posts: Minimum 35 years and maximum 50 years
AGE RELAXATION: All the reserved category applicants will get upper age relaxation in accordance with the Indian Government norms. The age relaxation for SC, ST, OBC, PwD, EXS, etc. as follows:-

- Deputy Manager (Statistician) Posts: Minimum 05 (five) years’ post qualification experience as a Statistician/ Executive in Supervisory/ Management Role in Scheduled Commercial Bank/ Associate or Subsidiaries of a Scheduled Commercial Bank or Major Private Sector Bank OR In a Public Sector or Listed Financial Institution/ Company. Candidates having experience in data validation, analysis and reporting to Top Management to be preferred.
- Manager & Project Development Manager Posts: Post qualification experience of minimum 04 (four) years in relevant work in Bank/ PSU/ Corporate.
- Head (Legal) Posts: Practiced as Advocate for a minimum period of 03 (three) years and Minimum Service of 20 (twenty) years as a law officer in Scheduled Commercial Bank and should have served in the capacity of General Manager for at least 01 (one) year. The experience should be after enrolment as an advocate with Bar Council.
- DGM (NCLT) Posts: Practiced as Advocate for a minimum period of 03 (three) years and Minimum Service of 17 (seventeen) years as law officer in Legal Department of Scheduled Commercial Bank or Financial Institution or Asset Reconstruction Company or Combined experience in Law Department of Scheduled Commercial Bank and Asset Reconstruction Company and has extensive experience in Recovery and Rehabilitation.
- DGM (law) Posts: Practiced as Advocate for a minimum period of 03 (three) years and Minimum Service of 17 (seventeen) years as a law officer in Scheduled Commercial Bank and should have served in the capacity of Assistant General Manager (Law) & above for at least 02 (two) years.
- Executive (Credit Monitoring) Posts: Post qualification experience in Corporate/ SME Credit as an Executive in supervisory/ management role in Schedule Commercial Bank/ Associate or Subsidiary of a Schedule Commercial Bank OR In a Public sector or listed Financial Institution/ Company.
- Head (Products, Investments & Research) Posts: Minimum 12 (twelve) years of relevant work experience in financial services, financial product development, investment advisory and private banking. Minimum 08 (eight) years of experience in Wealth Management. Excellent knowledge of Equity Products, PMS, Alternate Investments, Mutual Funds. Experience in Product Development and Structuring for Private Wealth Clients. Experience in managing Investment Counsellors/ Advisors at a National Level with Leading Banks/ Financial Institutions.

Aspirants should note down the registration number and password as they can re-open the saved application using it and edit the particulars if needed. Applicants have to upload all the necessary documents failing which their candidature will not be considered for shortlisting or interview. Once uploaded or submitted, the Documents uploaded cannot be edited or changed by aspirants. |
APPLICATION FEE & INTIMATION CHARGES (Non-Refundable/ Non-Adjustable):-
- Unreserved and OBC Quota: Rs. 600/- (rupees six hundred only)
- SC/ ST/ PWD Quota Applicants: Rs. 100/- (rupees one hundred only)
Mode of Payments: Every aspirant will have to make their fee payment through online by the payment gateway using debit card, credit card, internet banking, etc. as per convenience. In case your online fee payment not completed successfully in a first instance, then make fresh attempts for the online payment. For the online payment, transaction charges will be borne by candidates. Once the application fee paid, it will not be refunded on any account nor adjusted for any other examination or selection in future.
SBI Specialist Officer Vacancies 2020 Selection Process
About Selection Process: At last, only most eligible applicants will be recruited to perform the duty for Specialized Cadre Officer vacancies based on their performance in following selection procedure:
- Shortlisting: The selection committee will shortlist candidates on the basis of their qualification, suitability, experience, etc. The adequate number of applicants (as decided by the Bank) to be shortlisted for interview. Fulfilling minimum qualification and experience will not give any right to a candidate for being called for interview session.
- Interview: The aspirants will be awarded marks out of total 50 marks. The qualifying marks in Interview will be as decided by the recruiting authority. To be considered for the final selection, applicants must secure equal to or more than the minimum qualifying marks.
- Merit List: The merit list to be prepared in descending order based on scores obtained in the interview. If more than one candidate scores the cut off marks, then such aspirants will be ranked according to their age in descending order, both in the selection list as well as in the waiting list.
- Posting Place: Applicants appointed into the Bank are likely to be posted anywhere in India.
