| A) Have you applied for TNEB Exam to be held for 5000 Gangman (Trainee) Posts & have successfully passed the physical test? If yes, then you will be issued TANGEDCO e-Admit Card that you can also download from this page by hitting on the official link attached above. The date and time for written test will also be sent by SMS to all eligible candidates on a registered mobile number. The written exam hall ticket link will be sent via mail and also be made available for download in the official website. |

| Activity – I (Pole Climbing and Cross Arm Fixing) | Wear the belt rope, climb the 09 meters PSC pole and carry one end of rope in which the other end will be kept tied with 3 – phase cross arm. Fix the wooden support for footrest, tie the belt rope with the pole for safety purpose & fix the 3 – Phase Cross Arm at the top of the pole securely and then safely climb down. It should be finished in 08 minutes with 01 chance only. NOTE: The cross arm should be fixed around one feet from the top of the pole. |
| Activity – II (Rope Plaiting) | Rope plaiting with AAAC 7/3.15 mm conductor; marking & fixing the conductor on creeper; binding & fixing in the HT Disc and inserting the M.Pin. It should be finished within 02 minutes in 01 chance. NOTE: The number of rotations to be made while binding should not be less than 20 rounds. |
| Activity – III (Lift & Carry) | Lift and Carry 3 Numbers of 3 1/2 feet V-Cross Arm of around 35 kg for a distance of 100 meters in 01 minute with 01 chance and without putting the weight down. |

The syllabus shall cover the topics of Safety Measures, Electric Safety, Safety Equipments, First Aid, LT & HT Equipments, General Knowledge, etc. The questions will be available in Tamil as well as English languages. 01 (one) mark will be awarded for a correct answer while no marks deducted for those questions left unanswered. Multiple shading is to be considered as the wrong answer. Candidates have to use Blue or Black Ink Ball Point Pen only. If Answer Sheet shaded in Pencil, then it will be invalidated. Also, the answer sheet will be invalidated if the box for Booklet Series is not shaded and could not be identified even by physical verification of the answer sheet.
