Age Limit (as on 01-07-2015):

• Eligible candidates for the Lekhpal post must have minimum 18 years and maximum 40 years.
• Age Relaxation will be applicable for reserved category candidates as per government norms.

Educational Qualification:

• Applicants should have passed 12^th Class (Intermediate from UP Board) or any equivalent exam for recognized Board or University.
• Graduate candidates from any discipline can also apply for the UP Lekhpal recruitment.

Application Fee (non-refundable):

• For General and OBC Candidates – Rs. 300/- only.
• For SC/ST Category Candidates – Rs. 150/- only.
• For PWD Category Candidates – Exempted from Application Fee.
• Note: Candidates can do Payment of application fee up to 21^st July, 2015.

Pay Scale (per month):

• The selected candidates for UP Lekhpal Recruitment assured to get best pay slab of Rs. 5,200/- to 20,200/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 2,000/-.

Mode of Selection:

• The selection of the candidates is based on the Written Examination under direct recruitment followed by Interview.
• Selection process will be done of total 100 marks i.e. 80 marks for Written Examination and 20 marks for Interview.
