The Uttar Pradesh Police Department was established in the year of 1863. UPP is one among the famed government organizations in the Uttar Pradesh State. The written examination, conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPBPB) was successfully held on Wednesday 13/09/2017 at different venues. Around the state, this written exam was conducted for total 666 CO posts to select best candidates out of total applied for recruitment. Approximately more than 2500 eligible contestants who were looking for 12th pass govt jobs had attempted this examination in a single session with the best preparation. The main purpose of organizing this written exam is to shortlist capable candidates for typing test. The examination was held for 02 hours (120 minutes) covering subjects like General Knowledge, Mental Ability & Reasoning, and Computer knowledge. It is hosted for total 200 marks. The weight-age for the computer knowledge section was 100 marks while the remaining two sections had carried 50 marks each. Hope, participants know that there will be a negative marking for each wrong answer. Those aspirants who do not get the marks above UPP CO Grade A cut off marks will not qualify for next process. Every contestant needs to score minimum qualifying marks out of total 200 marks for listing their name in merit list.
