Uttar Pradesh Government has assigned Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University to conduct all the entrance examination for degree level engineering institutions and other professional colleges. So, AKTU University every year releases notification for admitting those students looking for UG and PG courses in affiliated colleges of UPTU. Applications were invited from eligible candidates for admission to 01st year of B. Tech/ B.Arch/ B.Des./ B.Pharma/ BHMCT/ BFAD/ BFA/ MBA/ MCA/ MAM and 02nd year of B. Tech/ B.Pharma/ MCA. Huge numbers of interested candidates have filled up and submitted their applications before the closing date. As per the schedule allotted to every student, the entrance exam was successfully held on May 10, 2020 (Sunday). It was hosted for 11 (eleven) papers with objective multiple type questions except for Drawing Aptitude test. This examination was organized at various centres situated in cities like Agra, Firozabad, Mathura, Aligarh, Allahabad, Azamgarh, Bareilly, Ambedkar Nagar and many other cities. For admission to all the Technical Institutions or Colleges affiliated to the AKTU, UP State Entrance Exam is held every year by OMB based & Computer based. The admissions in some of the courses in the other Universities of Uttar Pradesh also done through this entrance examination.

The Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination was held in two modes, i.e. OMR based and Computer Based Test. After the completion of an examination, the department has also provided Question Booklets, Official Answer Keys and Solutions of OMR Based Tests for all Sets (A, B, C & D) at an official website. According to information Brochure, UPTU UPSEE 2020 Result will be declared in the 01st week of June. The board will prepare a separate merit list for each course based on the performance of every student. According to the UP State Government orders, the UPSEE-2020 Cutoff Marks for the merit of successful contestants is 25% for Unreserved Category while 20% for SC/ST Category. Qualified contestants shall get a call for counselling as per their merit in this entrance examination by giving intimation through Newspapers and official website (https://aktu.ac.in or http://www.upsee.nic.in). The seat allotment will be depended on the availability of the seats on the counselling day. For counselling dates, all the contenders are guided to keep their eye on the official websites as well as on the local newspapers. Candidates will get counselling schedule from the website only. The higher authorities have extended the last date of the form submission till 10th June 2020 for NRI and Kashmiri Migrants. About Dr A P J Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU): It is formally known as Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU). It was established on 08th of May 2000 with a Motto “Excellence in action is yoga”. It was formed by the Government of Uttar Pradesh as a public university for reducing workload and to ensure proper management.
