According to the latest news, Karnataka PSC has decided to schedule the written examination on 10-Feb, 11-Feb & 25-Feb for recruiting qualified aspirants for the posts of First Division Assistants and Second Division Assistants. The schedule for KPSC FDA SDA Written Exam 2018 is now fixed and also released by the Commission on their official website. The reason for conducting the written test in a selection process is to check potential and ability of contestants before recruiting them for 1058 posts. It is essential to get good marks in the examination for qualifying in further rounds. After qualifying the written exam, selected aspirants need to undergo for a personal interview. Karnataka PSC FDA SDA Exam Pattern
|♦ Karnataka First & Second Division Assistant Exam Pattern/Syllabus ♦|
|i) The examination consists of Objective Multiple Choice Type Paper & Descriptive Type Paper.
ii) 01st Paper will have Descriptive Type Compulsory Kannada Test of maximum 150 Marks.
iii) In 02nd Paper, the Objective Type Exam will have two question papers (Paper-1: General English or General Kannada, Paper-2: General Knowledge).
iv) Applicants may select either the paper on General English or the paper on General Kannada.
v) Both the question papers consist of 100 marks each in Objective Type Examination.
vi) The exam paper consist of topics like General English, General Kannada and General Knowledge.
vii) The General English or General Kannada Paper will conform to the minimum standard expected of a student passed the Bachelor’s Degree Examination of a University. It will test contestant’s knowledge of English/Kannada grammar, synonyms, antonyms, vocabulary, spelling, his power to understand English/Kannada language and his ability to discriminate between correct and incorrect usage, etc.
viii) The time duration for each paper in an objective exam will be of 1:30 Hours (90 Minutes).
ix) The total 350 marks this exam carries while total test duration is 4:30 Hours (450 Minutes).
