KP Constable Eligibility Criteria 2025
Here job aspirants must fulfill the eligibility criteria to apply for Kolkata Police Constable & Lady Constable Recruitment 2025. WBPRB KP Eligibility Criteria are as follows:-
Nationality
- Applying candidate must be a Citizen of India.
Age Limit
- Candidate age must not be less than 18 years and not more than 30 years as on January 1st, 2024.
- The upper age limit is relaxable as follows:-
- Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes candidates = 05 (five) years
- Other Backward Classes-A and Other Backward Classes-B candidates = 03 (three) years
- Third Gender/ Transgender persons = 03 (three) years
- Civic Volunteers serving in Kolkata Police only = 5 (five) years
- The upper age limit shall be relaxable by the total number of years of completed service for the Ex-servicemen candidates subject to the maximum age of 40 (forty) years.
Educational Qualification
- Applicants having passed the Madhyamik Examination under the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) or its equivalent exam is eligible for recruitment.
Language
- Applicants must be able to speak, read and write in the Bengali language, except for the persons who are permanent residents of hill sub-divisions of Darjeeling and Kalimpong Districts for whom the provisions laid down in the West Bengal Official Language Act, 1961 (West Bengal Act XXIV of 1961) shall be applicable.

Kolkata Police Constable Admit Card 2025
Aspirants will be able to download the KP Constable E-Admit Card from the official website of WBPRB. For each selection round, i.e. Preliminary Written Test, Physical Test, Final Written Exam, Interview, Medical Test, etc., there will be different admit cards issued by officials. No Admit Card will be issued through the Postal/ Courier before the Preliminary Written Exam and subsequent stages if selected.
