West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) has released employment news as WBPSC Recruitment 2015 to fill up 72 vacant posts in different departments by hiring eligible contestants at www.pscwb.org.in. All the eligible and appropriate candidates who are searching for latest govt jobs in West Bengal are having good opportunity to give new direction to their carrier by being the part of the above recruitment.

West Bengal Public Service Commission also known as WBPSC is the government body which recruits the manpower for the vacancies in the departments under the states on behalf of the government, since very long time. It’s a dream of every eligible applicant to get vacancy under WBPSC. Every year it releases many notification and recruits appropriate candidates for the vacancies.

  1. Principal in Govt Degree Collage – 40 posts.
  2. Principal in Govt B.Ed. Collage – 06 posts.
  3. Head Master in Victoria Boy’s School – 01 post.
  4. Senior Scientific Officer in Foot Print Section – 01 post.
  5. Assistant Engineer (Agri – Mechanical) – 21 posts.
  6. Assistant Botanist in Agricultural Service – 02 posts.
  7. System Analyst in Secretariat of Public Service Commission – 01 post.

Eligibility Criteria for WBPSC Jobs 2015

Age Limit (as on 1st Jan., 2015):

  • Principal (Degree & B.Ed. Collage) – Mini. 40 years and Maxi. 55 years.
  • Head Master – Maxi. 45 years.
  • Assistant Engineer (Agri – Mechanical) – Maxi. 32 years.
  • Senior Scientific Officer, Assist. Botanist & System Analyst – Maxi. 35 years.

Educational Qualification:

  • Candidates having Master or Bachelor Degrees/Diplomas/Certificates in relevant field from recognized Universities or Institutions are quite eligible. Application Fee:

  • For General/O.B.C. category: Rs. 210/-.
  • For SC/ST category and Persons with disability not less than 40%: Exempted from payment of this fee.
  • No exemption of fee is available to SC/ST/BC candidates of other states.
  • No claim for refund of the fee will be entertained nor will it be held in reserve for any other examination.

Salary (per month):

  • Principal (Degree & B.Ed. Collage):– Rs. 37,400/- to Rs. 67,000/- plus Academic Grade Pay of Rs. 10,000/-.
  • Head Master & System Analyst:– Rs. 15,600/- to Rs. 42,000/- plus Grade Pay Rs. 6,600/-.
  • Sr. Scientific Officer, Asst. Engineer & Asst. Botanist:– Rs. 15,600/- to Rs. 42,000/- plus Grade Pay Rs. 5,400/-.

Selection Procedure:

  • Skill Test/Written Test.
  • Viva Voice Test/Personal Interview.
  • Personality Test.

  • Click on the ‘Login’ link for one time registration.
  • Entering the req. details, system will generate the Registration ID & password.
  • Re-login to the site and select the Advertisement link and click on it.
  • Carefully, fill up the application form with correct details.
  • After inserting all the mandatory details, click on submit it.
  • Download & Print the hard copy of application form.

Important date to be kept in mind:

  • Commencing of online application: 11th May, 2015.
  • Last date for submission of online application: 25th May, 2015.
  • Last date of fee payment (For all categories of post): 25th May, 2015.
