Bangiya Gramin Vikash Bank (BGVB) is one of the Regional Rural Bank in West Bengal. It was formed as corresponding new RRB, through notification in the Officials Gazette of Govt of India dated 21.02.2007. The command area of the Bank stretches to 11 districts of West Bengal. The Bank has a network of 582 branches and 1 extension counter spread across the command area as on Jan., 2014. the amalgamation was made in the public interest, in order to serve better the needs of development of the economy in conformity with national policy and objectives.

All the interested applicants for the post of Officer in Bangiya Gramin Vikash Bank must have qualified in IBPS CWE_III for RRB conducted in September/October 2014 and proficiency in Local Language i.e. Bengali. Eligibility Criteria for BGVB Jobs 2015

Age Limit:

  • Candidate’s age should not be less than 18 years and not more than 40 years.

Educational Qualification:

  • Eligibility Criteria is to be considered as per RRBs CWE-III Advertisement published in employment New/Rozgar Samachar Issuse dated 28th June – 4th July, 2014 released by IBPS.
  • Candidates applying for the posts of Officer Scale I and Office Assistant (Multipurpose) are required to possess proficiency in the local language Bengali of the State.

Pay Scale (Salary):

  • Office Assistant (Multipurpose): 7200-400/3-7400-500/3-8900-600/4-12300-700/7-17200-1300/1-18500-800/1-19300.
  • Officer JMG Scale-I: 14500-600/7-18700-700/2-20100-800/7-25700.
  • Officer MMG Scale-II (Specialist): 19400-700/1-20100-800/10-28100.

Selection Procedure:

  • Candidates will be called for interview by releasing BGVB interview admit card.
  • Merit list for interview will be based on Merit score in CWE_III.
