BHEL Apprentice Eligibility Criteria 2024

Age Limit:-

• Candidates’ age must be between 14 to 25 years as on 1st of January 2022.
• Benefits in upper age limit will be applicable for reserved quota aspirants as per State Govt. rules and regulations:-
  1. SC/ ST/ BHEL Employee (son/ daughter/ wife/ husband) – 05 (five) years
  2. OBC (Non-creamy layer) – 03 (three) years
  3. PH applicants – 10 (ten) years

Educational Qualification: Applying contestants should have following qualifications:-

• Graduate Apprentice: Bachelor’s Degree (B.E./B.Tech.) in Engineering in the relevant branch with minimum 70% marks for GEN/ OBC and 60% marks for SC/ ST from Institute or University approved by AICTE.
• Technician Apprentice: Diploma in Engineering or Office Management for Technician Apprentices in the relevant branch from the Institute or University approved by AICTE.
• NOTE: Those candidates having acquired Degree or Diploma from Distance or Correspondence education system is not eligible for the apprenticeship.
