Punjab School Education Board, Chandigarh was formed in the year 1969 under a legislative act of State Government. This board has entrusted the responsibility to SCERT of organizing a Teacher Eligibility Test ever year. On Sunday December 06, State Council of Educational Research & Training, Punjab has hosted PSTET examination as per announced timetable and schedule. The written examination was held successfully in two sessions throughout the state at numbers of designated venues. This test was conducted in 2 Categories i.e. 1st Paper for Primary Level and 2nd for B.Ed. candidates. Those who were willing to teach for Classes I to VII had attended both papers. All the questions asked in test are MCQs, with four options out of which one will be correct. Each question had carried one mark and there is no negative marking.
