TN Forest Guard Exam 2024 Pattern

Written Examination Scheme

• TN Forest written examination will be held in Online mode, i.e. Computer Based Test (CBT).
• The written exam will have 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
• There will be a maximum of 150 marks.
• All questions carry equal marks.
• The question paper will be in both English and Tamil.
• In case of any discrepancy between the Tamil and English versions of the question paper, the English version shall prevail.
• The written test duration will be of 180 minutes.
• There will be no negative marks for wrong answers in the online test.
• The qualifying marks are 45 for reserved and 60 for unreserved category candidates.

Aspirants need to obtain a certificate containing the Height & Chest Measurement particulars from a Medical Officer (above the rank of an Assistant Surgeon) appointed by the Govt to India Medical Institution on or after the Notification dated 30th November 2019. Just with reference to the Metric System, all the measurements must be specified as per rules. As and when called by officials, aspirants need to submit the documents.
