The Central Board of Secondary Education is a Board of Education for Public and Private Schools, under the Government of India. Central Board was established on November 03, 1962 and headquarter is located at New Delhi, India. Board grants affiliates to private schools and most of the schools approved by central government of India. It also conducts All India Pre Medical Test (AIPMT) for admission to major medical colleges, National Eligibility Test (NET) for grant of junior research fellowship, Central Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) and eligibility for assistant professor in institution for higher learning.
