As a part of selection process, the commission has conducted an OMR based written examination on 07/04/2018 to shortlist most capable candidates for the further process. An enormous number of candidates who were in search of Kerala govt jobs have applied to this recruitment and also attempted the examination. The written examination was held all over the state at various pre-designated centers. Contestants those who qualified in this written exam will be invited for Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Endurance Test and Medical Exam in the month of September or October 2018. Applicants need to undergo a one-year training course in any of the forest training schools after clearing all four selection phases. At last, qualified candidates shall be on probation period for total 2 years on duty within a continuous service of 3 years.
