SSC MTS 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Any candidate applying for SSC MTS and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) Exam 2024 must fulfil the Eligibility Criteria, which include fulfilment of age limit, education qualification, etc., as follows:-

Educational Qualifications

• Passed 10th Class (Matriculation) Examination or its equivalent qualifications from a recognized Board as on or before the cut-off date, i.e. 01-08-2024

Age Limitation

• The age limits as per the Recruitment Rules of various User Departments are:-
  • Above 18 years and below 25 years as on 01-08-2024 (i.e. Aspirants should not have been born earlier than 02-08-1999 and later than 01-08-2006) for MTS Posts.
  • Above 18 years and below 27 years as on 01-08-2024 (i.e. Aspirants should not have been born earlier than 02-08-1997 and later than 01-08-2006) for Havaldar in CBIC & CBN (Department of Revenue) and a few posts of MTS in various departments.
• The Upper Age Relaxation for different categories as per the government norms is as under:-
  • Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribe (ST): 05 years
  • Other Backward Class (OBC): 03 years
  • Persons with Disabilities (PwD): 10 years

SSC MTS 2024 Pay Scale

For Multi Tasking Staff & Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) Posts, the selected candidates will be paid in Pay Level-1 as per Pay Matrix of the 7th Pay Commission. However, the basic salary of MTS will be around Rs. 18,000/- to Rs. 22,000/-. The salary would vary depending on the candidate’s job location.

Here the process of filling SSC Online Application for the MTS examination 2024 consists of 02 (two) parts, i.e. Part-I: One Time Registration and Part-II: Filling of Online Application for the Exam. Simple steps for One Time Registration and Register Online Form at the concerned site as follows:-

• 1st Step – Visit the official website of the Staff Selection Commission i.e. https://ssc.gov.in
• 2nd Step – On a home page, navigate to the “Notice Board” section and download the PDF of SSC Notification for Multi Tasking Staff (Non Technical) and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) Examination, 2024.
• 3rd Step – Read the instructions given in the Notice of Examination carefully before proceeding to fill up the Online Registration Form and Application Form.

SSC MTS 2024 Exam Pattern, Syllabus

Aspirants applying for SSC MTS (NT) & Havaldar (CBIC & CBN) Exam 2024 must study the exam pattern for their knowledge. SSC’s multi-tasking staff exam pattern helps the candidates to focus their preparation and focus on the relevant topics. It also gives them an idea of the marking scheme and the time duration of the exam.

Computer Based Examination Pattern

• The Computer Based Examination (Session I & II) contains Objective Type, Multiple Choice questions.
• The questions will be set in English, Hindi and in 13 regional languages for Session I and the General Awareness Section of Session II.
• There will be no negative marking in Session I. In Session II, there will be a negative marking of 01 (one) mark for each wrong answer.
• The marks scored in CBE will be normalized using the formula published by the Commission.

• The PET/ PST Exam will be held for the post of Havaldar in CBIC and CBN only.
• The PET exam will consist of a Walking Test, which is 1600 meters for males and 1000 meters for females.
• The Height, Chest (Only for Male) and Weight will be measured in the PST Examination.
• The PET & PST Exam will be of a qualifying nature and will not carry any marks.

SSC MTS 2024 Admit Card

The Admit Card for SSC Multi Tasking Staff Exam will be issued sequentially to all the eligible contestants through the concerned Regional websites of SSC. Candidates who register for the SSC MTS Exam by the closing date & time and whose applications are found to be in order and provisionally accepted by the Commission as per the terms and conditions; will be assigned Roll numbers and issued Admission Certificate (AC) for appearing in the Computer Based Examination.

Candidates who fail to bring the admit card, one photo identity proof and other mandatory documents, he/ she will not be admitted inside the Examination venue. The Admission Certificate to eligible aspirants will not be issued by the postal service for any stage of examination.
