Gujarat TET 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfil all the eligibility criteria for Gujarat TET-I & TET-II 2024 specified by the State Examination Board (SEB). So, candidates who wish to appear for the Gujarat Teacher Eligibility Test must check below the detailed age limit & educational qualification required before applying online:-
TET-I (Classes I to V) Educational Qualifications:-
- Passed HSC (12th Exam) from a recognized Board; And
- P.C.T./ D.EL.Ed (02 years); OR Elementary Educational Degree – B.El.Ed (04 years); OR 02 years Diploma in Education (Special Education).
TET-II (Classes VI to VIII) Educational Qualifications:-
- Maths/ Science:
- B.SC. and P.C.T./ D.EL.Ed (02 years); OR
- B.SC with minimum 45% marks and B.Ed (01 year/ 02 years); OR
- 12th/ HSC pass (Science) with minimum 50% marks and B.El.Ed (04 years); OR
- 12th/ HSC pass (Science) with minimum 50% marks and B.Sc.Ed (04 years); OR
- B.Sc with minimum 50% marks and B.Ed (Special Education of 01 year).
- Languages:

Age Limitation:-
- There is no age limit to apply for Gujarat Teacher Eligibility Test. However, the Bharti Selection Committee will decide the age limit during the recruitment process.
SEB Gujarat TET 2024 Application Fee
Candidates must pay the application fee for Gujarat Teacher Eligibility Test (GTET) to submit their OJAS application form. The fee payment is to be done by either of the options like ATM Card, Net Banking, etc. The application fee for different categories is underneath:-

How to apply OJAS Gujarat TET 2024 Online Application Form?
Eligible candidates will need to register Gujarat TET 2024 Exam Application Form Online at the OJAS web portal – http://ojas.gujarat.gov.in/. Follow the below-mentioned steps to apply online for the Gujarat Teacher Eligibility Test-I & II:-
- 1st Step – Visit the Official Website of OJAS (Online Job Application System), i.e. ojas.gujarat.gov.in
- 2nd Step – On a homepage, go to the “Current Advertisement” section and click on the link named “SEB (રાજ્ય પરીક્ષા બોર્ડ)”.
- 3rd Step – Select the Subject you want to apply for and press the “Apply Now” button.
- 4th Step – If you do not have a “ONE TIME Registration (OTR) Number”, then press the “New Registration” button.
- 5th Step – Fill in all the necessary details in the registration form like Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Marital Status, Category, Contact Address, Phone Number, etc. and upload your Photograph & Signature.
- 6th Step – Click on the “Submit” button after cross-verifying the filled-in details.
- 7th Step – Finally, the system-generated Registration ID (OTR) will appear on the screen.
- 8th Step – Now, log in with your login credentials, i.e. Registration Number and Birth Date (dd-mm-yyyy).
- 9th Step – Insert your information in the application form, such as educational details, preference for exam centres, etc.
- 10th Step – Press the “Pay Fee” option after filling in the necessary details and then make the fee payment using the respective options.
- 11th Step – Before final submission, recheck the filled application form and make the corrections if required.
- 12th Step – Lastly, take a printout of the registered copy of your application form and e-receipt.

Gujarat TET 2024 Exam Pattern
Gujarat Teacher Eligibility Test will be an Offline (pen-paper-based) Examination. It shall be conducted separately for the Primary School Teachers as TET-1 and Upper Primary School Teachers as TET-2. Therefore, candidates willing to apply must know the OJAS SEB Elementary Teacher Eligibility Test Pattern as it gives an idea of the paper structure and will help to plan the preparation. SEB Gujarat Exam Pattern of TET-I & TET-II is as follows:-
- Both the TET exams will be Multiple Choice Questions Based (MCQs).
- There will be a total of 150 questions, and all the questions will be of objective type.
- For each right question, there will be a 01 mark.
- All the questions are compulsory to answer.
- There is no negative marking for incorrect answers.
- The time duration of TET-I will be of 90 minutes, while TET-II will be of 120 minutes.
