Upper Age Limit:-
- PGTs, TGTs and Other Category of Teachers = 50 years as on 1st July 2024
- For Ex NVS/ Superannuated Government School Teachers, the upper age limit will be 62 years as on 1st July 2024.
Essential Educational Qualifications:-
- Post Graduate Teachers (PGT):
- Master Degree from a recognized University with 50% marks in aggregate in the relevant subject.
- B.Ed. Degree
- Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English medium.
- Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT):
- Four years integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT or other NCTE recognized institution with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject as well as in the aggregate; OR 50% or above in marks in PG in the concerned Subjects from a recognized Institutions; OR Bachelors Honours Degree with at least 50% marks in concerned subject/ combination of subjects and also in aggregate; OR Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject/ combination of subjects and also in aggregate.
- Passed the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), conducted by CBSE in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE.
- B.Ed. Degree
- Competence to teach through English & Hindi.
- Art Teacher:
- Degree in Fine Arts/ Crafts from a recognized University.
- Proficiency to teach through English & Hindi.
- Physical Education Teacher:
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education B.P.Ed. from a recognized University.
- Proficiency to teach through English and Hindi.
- Music Teacher:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Music from a recognized university.
- Proficiency in teaching through English and Hindi.
- Librarian:
