RPSC Rajasthan Police SI 2024 Exam Pattern

RPSC will conduct a written Competitive Examination for the post of Sub Inspector in Section I, II & V and Platoon Commander in Section IV & VI on the following pattern:-

  • The questions in written examination to be answered in English or Hindi.
  • The syllabus and standards of each subject will be designed in consultation with the Commission.
  • Applicants who score 36% of marks in each paper and 40% in the aggregate shall be deemed to have passed the qualifying examination.
  • The relaxation up to 50 marks will be available for those candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC) & Scheduled Tribes (ST) in each paper and in the aggregate.
  • Based on merit on the aggregate marks obtained in the written exam, a list of such successful candidates up to 20 times the number of vacancies shall be prepared by the Commission.
♦ About Physical Efficiency Test (PET) ♦
  • Contestants who are declared successful in the written examination shall be required to appear before a Physical Efficiency Board for physical efficiency test (PET).
  • The Physical Efficiency Test will carry total 100 marks.
  • Contestants who secure 50% marks in PET will be eligible for selection.
  • The PET would be vigorous as laid down by the Director General of Police to adjudge suitability of the applicants.
♦ About Aptitude Test & Interview ♦
  • All those applicants declared eligible in the written exam as well as in the physical efficiency test (PET) shall be called for aptitude test and interview which shall carry total 50 marks.
  • The aptitude test and interview shall be held by a Recruitment Board.
  • The Board shall award marks in respect of aspirants suitability to the post by taking into consideration such as personality, address, tact, behaviour, specialized training, judgement, leadership and knowledge of Rajasthani Culture.
  • The Commission shall not recommend those who secure less than 30% marks (in case of OBC, MBC, SC & ST) and 36% marks (in case of Others) in the interview.
