1. State Bank of India Recruitment Department will provide PDF of Booklet in English as well as Hindi Language and Scribe Declaration Form for VH/ OH candidates along with Hall ticket through an official site. 5. If the identity of an aspirant is in doubt during the bio-metric process, then he/ she will not be permitted to appear for the test.
6. Candidate should maintain a safe social distance with one another and also wearing a face mask is compulsory at the examination centre.
7. Aspirants are strictly advised not to leave the seat in an examination hall unless they allowed by an Examiner or Invigilator.
8. On completion of the examination, candidates will be permitted to move out in an orderly manner one candidate at a time.
9. Aspirants are not allowed to use Books, Calculators, Cell Phones/ Mobile Phones, Slide Rulers, Notebooks, Written Notes, Wrist Watches, Bluetooth Devices, Eatables, Pen Camera, Magazines, Newspapers, Plain Paper and Other Prohibited items inside the examination venue.
10. A sheet will be provided to do all the necessary rough work. After the test is over, the rough sheet must hand over to the invigilator.

The preliminary test will be held with total 100 questions for 100 marks. It will be an objective type test consisting of three subjects namely English Language (30 marks), Quantitative Aptitude (35 marks) and Reasoning Ability (35 marks). Each question carries 01 (one) mark in the test. Every candidate will be given 01 hour composite time to finish their answer paper. Each question followed by 05 alternatives or options. Only one question will display at a time. The questions except those on the English Language will be available in Hindi and English. Negative marking is applicable in the Prelims Exam. There will be a penalty of one-fourth of the marks for Wrong Answers in this Objective Test. There will be no penalty for those questions left blank by the candidate. There will be no sectional cut-off. Aspirants numbering 10 (ten) times the numbers of vacancies (approx.) in each category will be selected for Phase-II Exam from the top of above merit list. The marks obtained in this Phase-I will not be added to the final selection. The main object behind conducting prelims is to verify the ability and knowledge of participants before qualifying them for the further test. The objective test will be held by online mode for 180 minutes duration consists of 04 Sections of total 200 marks. In the Main Examination, there will be a penalty for wrong answers marked by a candidate. 1/4th of the marks for Wrong Answers will be dedicated as a Negative marking system. If no answer marked by the aspirant, then no penalty for that question. There will be 05 (five) alternatives or options for each question. As shown in this table, there will be separate timing for every section. No sectional cut-off in the main exam. Aspirants numbering up to 03 times (approx.) the category wise vacancies to be shortlisted for Group Exercise & Interview from the top of category wise merit list subject to scoring the minimum aggregate qualifying score. The marks obtained in Main Exam will be counted for preparing the final merit list. In the Descriptive test, contestants will have to answer by typing on the computer. All aspirants will be allowed to use the keyboard to type their answer. Spellcheck facility will not be available for aspirants. Candidates can submit answer paper only after completion of test time.
