GATE Results 2018 | Check GATE Exam Result, Cutoff Marks, Merit List, Counselling Dates

Recently, the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati has successfully conducted GATE 2018 online examination for groups like computers, electronics, civil, mechanical on 03/02/18, 04/02/18, 10/02/18 & 11/02/18. This computer based test was organized in multiple sessions at various numbers of exam centers throughout the India. This Indian Entrance exam was held in morning shift from 09:00 A.M to 12:00 P.M and afternoon shift from 02:00 P.M to 05:00 P.M. According to database more than 20 lakhs eligible students had attended this exam for continuing their further higher educations. Now, after completion of exam every candidate is keenly waiting for the GATE 2018 Cut Off Marks & Merit List. The examination consisted of a single paper. The question paper had both multiple choice questions (MCQ) and numerical answer type questions. The paper had carried 65 questions for the maximum of 100 marks. The time duration was of three hours. However, till then participants can check out an official answer key from the main portal so that they can get some idea regarding their final outcome of result.

GATE 2018 Result Release Date

As per the official advertisement, GATE 2018 Merit List will be officially released on Saturday 17/03/18 via online service on the internet. All the students should mark their calendars and stay updated on a result date. Last year, this result announced on March 27, 2016. Here we notify to every candidate that GATE Exam score validity will be for a period of 03 years. After the declaration of results, students can download their score card for the paper from 17/03/2018 to 16/05/2018. All the IIT of Kharagpur, Bombay, Chennai, Kanpur, Delhi, Guwahati and Hyderabad will publish some cut off so, all those who score more than cut off marks are shortlisted in the Merit List.

Score Card Download Dates: 24th March to 05th May 2018

  • GATE 2018 Scorecard can be downloadable by qualified candidates till 05/05/2018 only. After May 05, 2018, the scorecard download link will be enabled by the official website.

Answer Key: The GATE 2018 Answer Keys shall publish on 27th February at the website. The authority will accept challenges from the candidates for answer key during 03rd March to 06th March. Only after giving the justification and paying Rs. 500/- for each question, candidate can challenge the answer key. On 26th March 2018, the Final Answer Keys after contestants challenges uploaded to the official website. Download the Final key from a link attached below. Only after 10th of April 2018, the authority will pay refund for successful challenges or failed transactions.

How to Download GATE 2018 Score Card?

  • Step 01: Open an authorized website of the Institute or just go through a direct working link uploaded below.
  • Step 02: Now in the home page, click on the download link named as “Result of Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering, 2018”.
  • Step 03: If required, then submit your Admit Card Number, DOB, Password, etc.
  • Step 04: Finally after valid submission, a pdf file of your Scorecard and merit list will display in the active device.
  • Step 05: At last, save the result and print out a copy of it for admission purposes.
