  1. Essential Educational Qualification: 10th or Matriculation Exam pass with Science as the main subject from a recognized Board or University.
  2. Desirable: 01 (one) year experience in the treatment of different species of animals in a recognized Veterinary Hospital.
• Constable (Carpenter, Blacksmith & Painter):
  1. Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board.
  2. 02 (two) years of work experience in respective trade; OR 01 (one) year certificate course from a recognized Industrial Training Institute or Vocational Institute with at least 01 (one) year experience in respective trade; OR 02 (two) years Diploma from a recognized Industrial Training Institute in the respective trade or similar trade; and
  3. Must qualify trade test
• Constable (Cook, Washer-man, Barber, Safaiwala, Tailor, Gardner, Cobbler & Water Carrier):
  1. Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized Board.
  2. 02 (two) years of work experience in the respective trade, OR 01 (one) year certificate course from a recognized ITI or Vocational Institute with a minimum 01 (one) year experience in the trade; OR 02 (two) years Diploma from Govt approved ITI in the trade or similar to trade.
  3. Must qualify trade test

Written Examination Pattern

• The Written Examination will be of 100 marks consisting of 100 multiple choice objective type questions.
• Negative markings will not apply for wrong answers in the exam.
• The Common Written Test will have questions focusing on General Knowledge, Mathematics, Reasoning & General English/ General Hindi.
• The total duration of the written test will be 120 minutes, i.e. 02 hours.
• The minimum qualifying percentage of marks in written exams for all posts will be 50% for General, EWS, OBC & Ex-servicemen while 45% for SC & ST categories.
• The final merit list for all posts will be prepared based on marks scored in the written examination only.

The Candidate will get his/ her SSB Admit Card for each exam mentioned in the selection process through online mode. The Call Letter can be downloaded only by inserting Registration Details. Only eligible applicants will be able to find their Admit Card from the online web portal. The board will publish a list of rejected aspirants before releasing the SSB Tradesman Driver exam hall ticket.
