The salary cum scale of pay for Probationary Office Jobs in State Bank of India is as follows:-

• The selected candidates will receive starting basic pay of Rs. 41,960/- per month with 04 advance increments.

SBI PO 2024 Exam Pattern, Syllabus

Candidates must examine the Probationary Officer Exam Pattern as provided by the State Bank of India Officials. Here’s complete detail about the Scheme of Prelims, Main Examination & Interview in the following tables:-

Preliminary Examination Scheme

• The Preliminary Examination consists of an Objective Test for 100 marks to be held in online mode.
• The Preliminary Test will have 03 (three) Sections with separate timings for each section.
• There will be topics like English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability in the Preliminary Exam.
• There will be a penalty for wrong answers marked in the preliminary exam. As a penalty, one-fourth of the marks assigned to that question will get deducted.
• If no answer marked by a contestant in the paper, then there will be no penalty for that question.
• No sectional cut-off in the preliminary examination.
• The total duration of preliminary test will be of 60 minutes.

Main Examination Scheme

• The Main Examination will be conducted online and will consist of Objective Tests for 200 marks and Descriptive Test for 50 marks.
• The duration of the Objective Test is 03 hours, and it consists of 04 (four) Sections. There will be separate timing for every section.
• There will be a negative marking of 1/4th marks in objective tests of the mains exam.
• Sectional Marks will not be maintained for the Main Examinations.
• The Descriptive test will be administered immediately after the completion of the Objective Test.
• There will be 02 questions from the Test of English Language (Letter Writing & Essay) for a total of 50 marks in the Descriptive Test of 30 minutes time duration.
• Candidates will have to answer the Descriptive Test by typing on the computer.
